SKYHOOKS.....performed as their six-member rock band in Melbourne in 1973 and rose to national prominence with their first album 'Living in the Seventies'. This was aided the following year by the nascent Melbourne music show on the ABC TV show 'Countdown'.
To enhance their rock concerts, they began to wear sometimes outrageous costumes, expose a bare chest once in a while, and include obscene and smutty lyrics to their music.
